The ProSkill Inter-university Field Trip to Ostrava, in the Czech Republic, took place between 22 and 24 September 2021. The trip was organised by the Technical University of Ostrava. A total of 80 students and 8 teachers from the ProSkill partner universities participated.
The programme offered lectures and visits focused on the development of a skill ecosystem within the raw materials sector by connecting new technologies, such as supercomputing and hi-tech production lines using industry 4.0 technology with historical technologies like coal and blast furnace.
In addition, students could visit the Science and Technology Centre of Dolní Vitkovice where they could also get acquainted with the beginning of the mentioned technologies.
