ProSkill visits the North-West University in South Africa

ProSkill Project Coordinator Tamás Bakó visited the Mahikeng Campus of North-West University (NWU) in South Africa in 2024 through the Erasmus+ program.

During his visit, Tamás presented ProSkill as a talent management program to the campus leadership. The project garnered significant interest, particularly from Prof. Anna-Marie Pelser, who oversees talent management and expressed her interest to learn more.

Tamás looks forward to potential collaboration with the NWU Business School in connection with ProSkill.

 

ProSkill at the Researchers’ Night 2024

The Technical University of Ostrava once again opened its doors to the public for Researchers’ Night 2024, offering visitors an exclusive look at the university’s latest scientific achievements. The event provided a unique opportunity to explore research laboratories, take part in hands-on experiments, and engage directly with scientists.

During the event, ProSkill project partners integrated the results of the Proskill Project into a presentation in the laboratory, allowing attendees to learn more about its impact and contributions to education and skills development.

 

ProSkill at the Art & Science 2024 event

The Art & Science 2024 event at the Technical University of Ostrava offered a unique fusion of technology, creativity, and scientific exploration, attracting visitors eager to engage with innovative ideas. Attendees had the opportunity to explore interactive exhibits, attend inspiring lectures, and connect with researchers and artists.

As part of the event, the ProSkill Project was introduced during a dedicated presentation, emphasising its role in skills development and education. Visitors learned about the project’s impact and how it supports students in acquiring key competencies for the future.

ProSkill at the Open Days of the Technical University of Ostrava

In 2024, in the Technical University of Ostrava organised the Open Days, a special event aimed at prospective students, offering them a closer look at the university’s academic programs and student life. Attendees explored a range of study options in technical, natural sciences, and economic fields while engaging in an interactive and informative program prepared by the university.

As part of the event, the ProSkill Project was prominently featured. ProSkill project partners from the Technical University of Ostrava presented the project through informational brochures, discussions with visitors, and short presentations, highlighting its significance and opportunities.

 

ProSkill Project presented at the Gaudeamus Days in Brno

The Technical University of Ostrava once again took part in the Gaudeamus Days in Brno, a prestigious higher education fair that attracts students seeking information about their future studies. As a regular participant, the university presented its diverse academic programs and student opportunities to prospective applicants.

At this opportunity, the ProSkill Project was presented. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the project through informational brochures and direct discussions with university representatives. Additionally, students were introduced to the latest results and insights from ProSkill, emphasising its impact on skills development and education.

Green-Tech Conference in Zalaegerszeg

ProSkill Project Coordinator Tamás Bakó participated in the Green-Tech Conference in Zalaegerszeg (Hungary) on 23 and 24 May 2024.

Tamás participated as a representative of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Miskolc. This was an opportunity to engage with elementary and secondary schools students, who were looking for options for continuing their studies. Tamás recommended ProSkill as a talent management programme for them.
